The Waisted Time of a Prophet/Prophetess

The prophet/prophetess is different from the day he or she in conceived. The day the prophet/prophetess is born he or she is set apart from all other children. There is a isolation, a not fitting in lifestyle that follows the life of a prophet/prophetess. Along with that there is also a peace and understanding that walks hand in hand with not fitting in. It’s seen and we notice it but we aren’t really hurt by it. We don’t understand that the reason we aren’t really hurt by it, is because we aren’t truly alone.

The life of a prophet/prophetess is one that must be carefully lived out! We can’t go every place and do everything. We must live a life style that is unfamiliar to us at first. This is where we lose time. A prophet/prophetess living in a normal world being surrounded by normal things, friends, family, music, television, without being properly identified of who they are leads them to a path of tears and much waisted time!

We suffer when we partake in normal things of the world because we are not meant to. Our discernment suffers, our dreams cease, our ears become plugged, our prayers are halted and sometimes we just don’t know why. It’s because that music, that show, that movie, that crowd, those friends, those clothes, that job, that church, KILLS the very person you ARE!
It can be a very difficult life for a prophet/prophetess living his or her life in ignorance or rebellion towards the way God has ordained their lives to be lived.

Ignorance is dangerous because we unknowingly do things that are detrimental to our calling and ourselves. Rebellion is dangerous because no matter how you try to go your own way as a prophet you still can’t shake what God has called you to be. You’ll just live this life unfruitfully with much wasted time until your death.

The waisted time of a prophet/prophetess comes from being totally and completely different from everyone else in this world but trying to be like and do the same things as everyone else in this world. Even in comparison with Christian friends the prophet is much different. Although we are prophets and prophetesses we are still human, so we being human abandon or set aside the life we know we must live. We go when we should have stayed home. We watch when we should have turned away. We fellowship when we should have fasted. We go when we should have stayed shut in.

We speak and share when we should have stayed silent. All these things are detrimental to a prophets life, walk, and calling. We never truly have peace living this way, so sooner or later we are back at the feet of Christ asking?! Why aren’t you speaking, why can’t I feel your presence, why haven’t I heard your voice. When was my last vision? Lord are you there!? We don’t realize that because of who we are and because of who God called us to be, that we can not take on the things of this world and expect the work of God in our lives

Bottom line WE ARE DIFFERENT! We didn’t ask for this calling but we were given it, and it is a blessing the we take for granted. Prophets are built and made to endure long periods of time in solitude, in prayer and in study. We are built that way because the Lord deals with us under these conditions. We are built to understand, know, and see things and they not frighten us. We are built to see a person as a person and not put any man on a pedal stool. We are built to take pride in the true fact that we are self-taught by The Holy Spirit then Man!

We are hurt when we obey other peoples opinions about what we should be doing or how we should be acting, Instead of what God has lead our spirits to do!

Lord help your true prophets/prophetess know who they are! Help us, me especially not to waste anymore time not walking in our purpose in whatever way that is! Teach me Holy Spirit as a prophet how to not waste anymore time!
